Engineering geology, early-stage mining and exploration, and project alignment

Undertake and manage ground investigations, including desk studies and the planning, scoping, and coordination of site investigations in accordance with project requirements and relevant standards.
Provide technical input throughout site works, overseeing drilling, geophysical surveying, in-situ testing, and laboratory testing to ensure robust data capture.
Perform detailed QA/QC review of all factual data and the interpretation of in-situ testing and geophysical survey data, refining stratigraphy, classifications, and derived parameters as required.
Compile, review, and deliver high-quality Factual Ground Investigation Reports for major infrastructure schemes, ensuring technical accuracy, internal consistency, and compliance with client specifications.

Prepare Early Reconnaissance Reports covering comprehensive data compilation, including regional and local geology, historical exploration results, geophysics, geochemistry, and remote sensing datasets.
Deliver integrated geological interpretation and target generation, producing ranked exploration targets with clear rationale and preparing desk-study–level JORC Table 1 (Section 1) and NI 43-101–compliant technical documentation to support informed, risk-aware decision-making.
Provide project and site supervision across mining and exploration activities, including tailings storage facility works, ensuring compliance with designs, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards and provide technical guidance to promote safe, efficient, and technically robust site operations.

Lead relationship-driven project origination, engaging with mining operators, consultants, and contractors to identify, evaluate, and progress technically credible projects from early concept through defined opportunity.
Act as an independent technical liaison between local stakeholders, project teams, and international partners, aligning geological understanding, project objectives, and delivery expectations across different operating environments.
Provide independent technical input for early-stage project screening, technical risk assessment, and due diligence, supporting disciplined, staged decision-making before capital or programme commitment.
Operate in a conflict-aware and independent manner, focused on technical clarity, realism, and alignment with recognised international standards, best practice, and robust risk management principles.
